Art Deco Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Purse 1940's Flapper Evening Handbag Unique
This is an elegant and very unique vintage 1940's Art Deco Whiting & Davis brushed gold frame and gold mesh fringed flapper evening purse.
The purse measures approximately 5 inches across, and from the top of the frame to the bottom fringe is approximately is 8 1/2 inches in length.
The pretty gold tone chain that adds an additional 14 inch drop from the top of the frame.
The frame is brushed gold tone in color that is in lovely condition, with no damage.
The satin lining is in wonderful condition; with no rips, tears, stains or damage.
There are no dents, or discoloration to the frame, and the mesh is bright and shiny; the only issue to note is some of the fringe has some small areas of missing pieces that is not very noticeable.
The clasp is in perfect condition, and it snaps shut well.
This is a nice deep purse that will hold more then the average mesh purses we have seen.
It is hallmarked with the Whiting and Davis tag sewn into the lining, as well as the "Whiting & Davis" stamp in the inside frame of the purse.
