Circa 1910 Lift Arm Lighter Silver Hammered Case Lighter Rare Working
This is one of those once in a lifetime finds. This circa 1910 lift arm silver tone case lighter is probably one of the first iterations of the classic case lighter.
The case has no hallmarks or patents anywhere on the piece. We have re-wicked the lighter and added a new Ronson bronze flint; and it works well.
It measures approximately 3 1/4 inches by 2 5/8th inches, and is approximately 7/8th of an inch deep. The lid is convex.
The hinge and clasp work well, as does the spring loaded clip to hold your cigarettes. This was made at a time when most people rolled their own smokes; so it will not fit todays cigarettes.
This is a true collectors piece, and in excellent cosmetic and working condition. A great piece to add to any collection. Visit our shop for a large selection of unique vintage and antique tobacciana items.
