1920s Cloisonne Compact Dance Purse Wristlet Makeup Compact
Here's a pretty little 1920's silver tone cloisonné wristlet dance compact purse.
It's in wonderful condition, with tiny enamel painted flowers on an engine turned compact; and a center enameled cloisonné medallion.
The compact opens with a push of the button on the front edge, and has a perfectly clear metal mirror inside the lid. Any dark spots are reflections while photographing, not damage.
It also has a dial sifter style loose powder compartment that is empty; turn the dial to expose the hole to fill, or the tiny dispensing holes.
The back of the piece has a gorgeous engine turned design, and the piece has a pretty bar and link chain that is also in wonderful condition.
It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter; and the chain adds an additional 5 inch drop from the top of the compact. We found no hallmarks on this compact. A wonderful piece of history to use or add to your collection.
