Victorian Compact Purse 1900s Silver Compact Ornate Antique Finger Ring Compact
This is a pretty little antique silver tone engine turned finger compact in good condition.
It has a blank cartouche on the lid for your initials, and the compact measures approximately 2 3/4 inches in length and 1/1/2 inches in width, not including the chain and ring.
It has a lovely repousse finger ring for easy carrying, that extends from a delicate chain.
This piece has two separate compartments one for powder and one for rouge, with both powder and rouge plates, with some powder remaining on each plate. It also comes with the two original powder puffs, that show some wear from use and age.
The mirror is in good condition, with only very slight haze. The hinge, and clasp work perfectly, and it closes tight and secure.
This compact has some scuffing and discoloration, but no serious damage. No dents or dings. To see more detail please use the zoom feature. It is actually much more attractive than our photos show.
