This is a stunning and extremely rare Art Deco 1920's octagon ball shaped sterling silver & guilloche enamel 15 jewel Goering watch fob or pendant, in mint condition.
The watch has an intricate guilloche pink enamel and sterling silver case. The interior has a heavy gold wash, and is hallmarked Goering Watch Co .0925 and Sterling Silver. The watch movement is hallmarked Goering, 15 Jewels, 2 Adjustments and Swiss.
It measures .90 inches across the front and is .73 inches in height. It weighs 18.7 grams not including the tassel.
The face is white with dark blue almost black hands and numbers under a convex crystal. This piece is in excellent working condition, keeping time, but I'm sure it could benefit from servicing. The last servicing was done in October of 1993.
The pink enamel is in fabulous condition without scratches, chips, cracks or damage of any kind. It has a pretty pink tassel attached, but this piece can also be worn as a necklace, chatelaine or watch fob if desired.
It will come in a dark blue and gold trimmed hinge lid jewelers box, that makes it perfect for gifting. It would look fabulous as a necklace on a sterling silver chain.
