Circa 1900's Silver Vanity Box Compact Perfume Bottle Set Antique Box Mirror Powder Compact Victorian Vanity Set Dresser Accessory
This is a really rare and lovely antique circa 1900's silver vanity or dresser box with perfume bottle and powder, mirror compact.
We are unsure as to the metal content of the items; it could be nickel silver or plated silver. There are no hallmarks on any of these pieces that we could find.
The case shows some wear; and the satin lining is starting to deteriorate. The perfume bottle has a chip on the rim of the bottle, but is still quite useable. No cracks or other damage to the bottle.
The compact has also shows some age related wear; the mirror has some very slight haze, but is still quite usable.
The box is approximately 5 1/2 inches length by 3 3/4 inches in width. The compact is approximately 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The perfume bottle is approximately 2 3/4 inches tall by about 1 inch in width.
Both the case and compact have the initials "L E" on the top of them.
This is a wonderful and unique antique set that would be a great display piece for any vanity or dresser.
