Art Deco Magic Case Lighter Black Cigarette Case 1930s Cigarette Case Working Lighter
Here's a fabulous 1930's black Art Deco Cigarette Case with built in lighter, in terrific cosmetic and working condition.
This piece is hallmarked "MAGIC CASE MFRS, St. Louis, Mo. U.S.A.", as well as a patent numbers of "1186530 and 1293197", and also hallmarked "Other Patents Pending".
It's a very cool piece that dispenses a cigarette out of the side of the case when you slide the top clasp over. If you continue to push the clasp further it will automatically light the cigarette lighter. This is the first time we have ever seen one of these cases in working condition. A very rare find.
It has a new flint installed and works well. You will need to add your own lighter fluid, as we are unable to ship with flammable liquids. The cigarettes shown are not included.
This powder coated black enamel aluminum case has a lovely Art Deco design in silver tone, and has a blank cartouche on one side for engraving your initials.
It's in fabulous condition, with only very slight age appropriate wear. All hinges and working parts operate as they should. These cases were meant for non filtered cigarettes of that time period.
This is a very rare and unique working case lighter to add to your collection, and a must have for the serious collector. Visit our quick links at the bottom of the page for more tobacco related items.
