This is a really lovely 1940's Art Deco silver and blue enamel Elgin American powder, rouge and mirror compact.
The piece is in wonderful condition, with only some very slight scuffing, but nothing that detracts from it's beauty. Our photos don't do this piece justice.
It opens to a clean covered powder compartment, and includes the original powder puff, along with the original unused cream rouge.
The mirror does have some white spots that can be seen in our photos.
It is hallmarked on the interior powder compartment lid, as well as on the powder puff. All hinges and closures work perfectly.
