Victorian Silver Plated Coin Change Purse 1800's Compact Finger Ring Rare Antique
This is a lovely and rare antique silver plated coin or change purse from the late 1800's to early 1900's.
It's in wonderful condition, with an Old English style engraved cartouche. The letter appears to be an "H". The compact is hallmarked inside "Silver Plate".
The coin purse has a delicate chain and finger ring for carrying, and opens to three coin slots. One for dimes, quarters, and nickels. All the spring loaded holders work as they should, hinge and clasp are also in great working condition.
The only issue we saw was some very faint pinpoint dings on the back of the piece, and very light scuffing and tarnish from use. No serious flaws or damage. The piece is well made and heavily plated.
It measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in length by 1 1/2 inches in width. The chain and ring measure an approximate 4 inches in additional length.
