1930s Trench Art Cigarette Case Alpaca Silver Case Taj Mahal Enamel Business Card Holder
An early 1930's trench art vintage alpaca silver and red enamel cigarette case or business card holder.
The piece is etched in a very intricate design on both the front and back; and the etched design of the Taj Mahal.
It's a beautiful piece in fantastic condition, and the elastic bands will hold your cigarettes or business cards intact. The case has no dents, dings, rust or corrosion. The interior is bright and shiny, and the two elastic bands are in very good condition. It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches in length by 3 1/4 inches in width.
This piece was made at a time when cigarettes were non-filtered. It could hold today's filtered cigarettes if you put them lengthwise, or it would make a great holder for dollar bills, business and credit cards.
It's a wonderful piece for display or use, and is very well made; and snaps shut tightly.
