1913 Richard Hudnut Perfume Vintage Powder Plaza Toilet Talcum Powder UNUSED RARE
This is an extremely rare and wonderful vintage 1913 Richard Hudnut Plaza Toilet or Perfumed Talcum Powder bottle, that is full and unused.
The fragrance was introduced in 1913 by Richard Hudnut.
The heavy weight frosted glass bottle is 5 inches in height by 2 1/2 inches wide and approximately 1 1/2 inches in depth.
It has a brass screw off lid that has a beautiful verdigris and copper colored patina, but no cracks or damage other than the patina; which we feel is so pretty we would not remove it.
The die cut, embossed gold foil label reads "Plaza Toilet Powder Richard Hudnut New York". The label does show some slight age appropriate wear that appears worse in our high resolution photos than it actually is. It is still firmly attached to the bottle.
One side of the bottle has a small paper label reading "net weight 3 1/2 ozs", and there is a blue rope style string around the neck of the bottle with a small gold paper label.
The lower back of the bottle has raised letters that read "Richard Hudnut New York Paris."
There are no chips, cracks or damage to the bottle or lid. What a fabulous piece to display or give for a special gift.
