Richard Hudnut Book Compact Violet Sec Face Powder Unique Antique Powder Sheets
This is an rare and most unusual antique Richard Hudnut Violet Sec ladies compact book with face powder sheets or leaves.
The compact is shaped like a book and inside has paper leaves which are called "Face Powder Leaves" complete with powder. A lady would just tear out a sheet and use to blot or powder her nose.
When closed the book like compact measures 3 1/8 inches high by 2 1/8 in width. The color on the side of the book is "Natural".
The face leaves compact is in good condition considering the age of this piece. The graphic on the outside are still clear and bright. Some slight age related wear as seen in our photos.
