Karess Woodworth Compact 1917 Gold Guilloche Powder & Rouge Rare Gift Boxed
This is a gorgeous 1917 Karess Woodworth guilloche gold tone and enamel powder and rouge compact.
The compact is in great condition, with no serious damage; just some scuffing to the bottom, and some wear and discoloration to the gold on the edges and interior. Check our high resolution photos by using the mouse over feature to see the wonderful detail of this piece.
The compact opens to slightly hazy mirror; with some dark lines, but is still usable. It has an empty powder plate; with the 1917 dated plate holder. It also has a covered rouge compartment that is empty. There are two unused handmade powder puffs.
The lid has a beautiful shiny silver guilloche design with a blue grey enamel edge trim; with no loss of enamel.
It compact measures approximately 2 1/8 inches in diameter. It comes in a decorative embroidered silk lined gift box that makes it perfect for gifting.
