Pink Guilloche Sterling Silver Clothing Brush 1935 Albert Carter Skyscraper Design Mint Condition
This is a stunning mint condition 1935 Art Deco skyscraper design sterling silver & pink guilloche enamel natural bristle clothing brush, designed by Albert Carter.
It is a lovely design with a raised art deco skyscraper shape at one end and another inset into the enamel to match at the opposite end. The pink color is a true pink, not salmon, as some of our photos may appear on your monitor or device. It was hard to photograph to get the true pink color of the piece, so we wanted to mention that it is a true pink.
This piece carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks which date it to Birmingham 1935, the initials AC for the makers Albert Carter and the registered design number 812538.
It is in mint condition with no damage anywhere, there are no chips, cracks, dings or damage to the shiny smooth enamel, and no fading to the gorgeous vivid pink color. The natural bristles are also all intact and clean.
It measures approximately 6 inches in length by 2 inches in width on top and is about 35mm deep.
