Black Cameo Locket Necklace Seed Pearls Gold Victorian Pendant 30 Inch Adjustable Chain
This is a lovely 1930's Victorian style black cameo pendant locket necklace with a 30" adjustable chain.
The piece is lovely. It appears to be a black resin cameo on black or onyx glass. The cameo is surrounded by tiny seed pearls. No pearls are missing, and no damage to the glass or cameo. Any marks on the glass are reflections.
The back of the pendant opens up to add a small photo. There is currently a photo of a gentleman inside, as found.
It measures 2 inches in height by 1 3/4 inches in width and is 5/8 inches in depth. Locket opens and closes as it should to hold a picture in a 1 3/4 inch by 1 3/8 inch frame. The chain is a 30 inch adjustable chain that is in excellent condition.
There are no hallmarks on this piece, so we have no idea of the metal content. It is most likely a gold tone metal alloy.
