Nippon Moriage Celery Dish Hand Painted Floral Porcelain Relish Tray Circa 1911 to 1921
A wonderful hand painted Nippon celery dish or relish tray in excellent condition. It measures 12 inches in length by 4 1/2 inches across and is approximately 1 1/4 inches in height.
The piece features a pretty floral design in soft shades of green on a pure white base. It has a raised Moriage decoration on the edges and around the flowers.
It's hallmarked "Hand Painted", along with the red wreath with an "M" in the center. Pieces made for the U.S. market from 1911 to 1921 normally had this particular stamp. This piece has no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, and no wear to the design. It's in excellent to mint condition. A gorgeous piece for the collector.
