Victorian Gold Compact & Change Purse Antique Chatelaine Card Case Wristlet Purse
A stunning early 1900's little gold tone antique Victorian compact and coin, card case with wristlet chain.
It has a beautiful faceted purple central stone on front with design of leaves and flowers surrounding it.
The purse measures approximately 2 3/4 inches in length by 1 3/4 inches in height.
It's in wonderful condition for a piece of this age; but does have a few tiny, light dings to the back, as well as some touches of tarnish.
The kiss clasp works perfectly; and opens to a spring loaded coin holder, a glass mirror lid compact, and a clip that would have been for stamps, memos, cash or dance card. The mirror has lost some of the silvering with age, but could be replace if desired.
It's a unique and lovely piece to add to your compact or purse collection.
