Art Deco Enamel Compact Purse Powder & Rouge Finger Ring Purse Rare Wonderful Condition
This is a pretty little Art Deco enamel powder and rouge finger ring compact purse in wonderful condition, with only a slight amount of enamel loss, that doesn't detract from the beauty of this unique piece. No dents, dings, rust or corrosion.
The compact measures approximately 2 inches in height by 2 inches in width, at the widest point. The chain and finger ring add an additional 3 1/4 inches in drop from the top of the compact.
It opens to one side having a powder compartment with the original powder, and the clear metal mirror separating the other rouge side, with the original rouge. It includes one of the original powder puffs that is in great condition, and is shaped to fit the compact perfectly.
The enameling is done in a rusty red shade, and black; and as stated earlier, has some very slight flecks of enamel loss, but is still in shiny condition. The finger ring has a beautiful repousse pattern that is attached to a fine linked chain; also in excellent condition.
The compact closes securely with a locking hasp style clasp; and the compact has no hallmarks that we could find.
It comes with a lovely color matched pouch for safe keeping. This compact purse would make a wonderful gift for the Art Deco or compact purse collector.
