1950s Volupte Gold Compact Purse Excellent Condition
Here is a wonderful vintage 1950's Volupte gold tone compact purse. The piece is in excellent condition, and has an attractive Art Deco linear design on the lid
It's approximately 4 1/4 inches in length by 3 1/8th inches in height. It's about 3/4 of an inch in thickness. It has a bar style clasp and opens to a large clear glass mirror that casts a good reflection. It also has a nice clear plastic comb that is held in place by clips. There are two covered compartments for storage. One is hallmarked with the "Volupte" hallmark; and has a compartment for a lipstick case. No lipstick case included. This compact purse has no dents, dings, rust or corrosion. Just ever so slight scuffing mostly to the back of the piece.
It's a terrific piece to add to your vintage collection or for a night out on the town.
