1900s DuBarry Hudnut Compact Purse Victorian Wristlet Purse In Original Box
Here's a beautiful Du Barry Richard Hudnut 1900's Victorian powder and mirror compact purse with wristlet chain; in the original box.
This is the first compact of the DuBarry Hudnut line of compacts; and the compact was released in 1902. It's in terrific condition; with no dents, rust or corrosion.
The piece is hallmarked by the hinge "Du Barry Richard Hudnut". It has an interesting intricate design with a blank cartouche for engraving on the lid.
It has the original clean powder plate, and the original powder puff, that is in great condition. The mirror is in excellent useable condition, with no haze or damage. It comes in the original cloth covered gifting box, with a pink tassel for securing the lid closed.
The compact measures approximately 2 inches in length by 1 1/4 inches in width, and is about 1/2 inch in depth. It has a very delicate gold tone wristlet chain.
