Antique French Gold Compact Blue Rhinestones & Pearls 1800's Powder Mirror Compact Purse Rare
This is a rare and gorgeous French antique 1800's gold powder and mirror compact with blue rhinestones and white pearls.
It's a gold tone compact that has a lovely aged patina, and green and blue enamel accents, as well as blue rhinestones and white pearls.
The beautifully ornate framed beveled mirror is in good condition; with no chips or cracks, but does have some darkening around the edges, and a few tiny dark dots.
It comes with a handmade powder puff with a silk and embroidered top. The outside has a beautiful white tassel, in excellent condition.
The hinge works as it should; and there are no dents or dings to the compact. The bottom is hallmarked "Made In France". The interior is hallmarked "98".
The outside edges of the piece have a gorgeous repousse pattern.
The compact measures a bit over 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The piece is approximately 1/2 an inch in thickness.
