Richard Hudnut Guilloche Enamel Deauville Compact 1920's Powder Rouge Excellent Condition
Gorgeous 1920's Art Deco Richard Hudnut Deauville vintage turquoise enamel guilloche powder, rouge and mirror compact complete with the original box.
The piece is a silver tone compact with a stunning turquoise enamel guilloche lid. Any white spots are reflections, not any damage.
There are two compartments, one empty rouge compartment; with rouge powder puff behind the mirror. Also one powder compartment; with an unused handmade powder puff.
The mirror is clear and in great useable condition.
This compact is in excellent condition; with no dents, rust or damage to the guilloche enamel.
The hinges and closure work perfectly, and it snaps shut tightly. It's hallmarked "Deauville, Richard Hudnut" and has a "patent date of Dec 2 , 1924".
It is approximately 2 inches in diameter by approximately 1/2 inch in thickness.
The original box measures 3 inches square by 1 1/4 inches in height; and is also in very good to excellent condition. It's a very rare find; and has a silk covered lid, and cream colored satin interior. It is hallmarked ""Naturalle Powder Carmeen Rouge" on the bottom, as well as the "Deauville" name inside on the lid.
