1940s Elgin American Gold Compact Unused In The Original Box
This beautiful gold Elgin American powder and mirror compact comes complete and unused in the original box.
The compact lid is gorgeous and free from any damage, the back does have one very tiny ding that can be seen in our photos, but is much less noticeable in person.
The hinge and closure work perfectly; and the piece opens to a clean covered powder compartment. This compact never had any powder in it, and comes with the unused hallmarked powder puff.
The mirror does have some age related haze, but is intact; and could be replaced if desired.
This piece comes complete with the satin and felt lined pouch, the original paper insert, and the original box with display stand. The box does have some very slight age wear.
