Vintage 1930s Guilloche Enamel Powder Rouge Mirror Compact
This is a really stunning vintage 1930's guilloche enamel powder, rouge and mirror compact.
The guilloche is a butter yellow color with a hand painted pink rose and four violets with leaves circling the rose.
The compact has a black enamel base, with some chips to the enamel on the base of the piece, as can be viewed in our high resolution photos. No dents, dings, rust or corrosion.
The edge around the compact has a beautiful gold repousse design.
It opens to a double sided metal mirror that covers the empty rouge compartment, and an empty covered powder compartment.
The mirror has some slight scratching, as can be seen in our photos. All hinges and closures work perfectly, and we could not find any hallmarks on this piece. It measures 2 inches in diameter.
