Antique German Silver Compact Wristlet Purse Victorian Mirror Compact With Down Feather Powder Puff
Here's a lovely Victorian German silver powder and mirror compact wristlet purse from the early 1900's. It comes with the original down feather powder puff and a wristlet chain for carrying.
It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and the chain adds an additional 4 inches from the top of the compact. The piece has a blank cartouche on both the front and back side of the compact. It opens and closes perfectly. The mirror has some light haze and a very tiny silvering spot at the very edge near the frame. Given it's age it does have some slight tarnish and light age related wear. No dents or dings, and is a lovely piece of Victorian history to add to your collection. It's hallmarked "German Silver", and comes in a white organza drawstring pouch that's perfect for gifting.
