1930s Silver Guilloche Compact Art Deco Powder Mirror Compact
This is a wonderful vintage 1930's Art Deco style silver tone powder compact.
The piece is in wonderful condition with a pretty enameled guilloche center medallion with a hand painted pink rose and green leaves. It also has touches of blue and yellow enameling on the flowers that surround the guilloche enamel medallion.
It opens to a dial style sifter for your loose powder, and a very clear metal mirror. The mirror is in good condition with no damage, and the hinge and closure work perfectly.
The only issue we could find is that it does have an ever so slight indentation at the 7 o'clock position of the lid. It's not very noticeable, but I mention it for the sake of accuracy. This compact is a wonderful piece that is in fantastic condition, with a beautiful machine turned Deco design on both the front and back.
