Volupte Lip Lock Purse & Cigarette Case 1950's Gold And Black Moire Purse
This is a pretty 1950's Volupte Lip Lock gold compact purse with cigarette and lipstick case that comes complete with the black moiré holder and the original box .
Both sides of the purse are a brushed gold tone and the lid has three decorative keys. The edges of the purse are a shiny gold tone. The black moiré slip case is in wonderful condition, and has a snap closure pocket on the back for cards and cash, as well as a carrying handle.
Inside the compact, the lower compartment includes a separate covered powder well with powder puff, another compartment for small items or change with a cloth pouch, and the lipstick holder. The lipstick case can be removed from the compact even when the compact is closed for quick touchups.
The two sided metal mirror is shiny on both sides and casts a crisp reflection. The mirror is spring loaded to keep your cigarettes or other essentials firmly in place behind the mirror.
The compact measures 5 1/4 inches in length by 3 inches in width by 1/2 inch in thickness, not including the moiré case. It is hallmarked "VOLUPTE USA" on the top lid of the powder compartment.
