1920s JEMCO Purse Antique Black Suede Art Deco Purse Formal Evening Bag
This is a stunning late 1920's JEMCO antique black suede purse that is extremely rare.
It measures approximately 6 inches in height including the frame and clasp, and 7 inches across the widest point.
The piece is in fantastic condition, and appears to not have been used, as the interior is clean. The exterior black suede fabric is in wonderful condition, with only some slight signs of age related wear. The interior lining is in wonderful condition, with no damage.
It's such an unusual design; with a change purse built in to the main purse frame. The change purse is also in excellent condition, and has a kidd leather lining. It also has the original hazy mirror in a small pocket in the purse.
Any of the white dots are not damage, just tiny flecks of dust that show in our high resolution photos. The purse is hallmarked on the interior frame with the JEMCO name.
The clasp and frame are also stunning and unusual. It has a black marcasite accented frame and clasp. The strap does show very slight wear to the underside.
