A great pair of antique 1800's Lamaire Fabt Paris opera glasses or binoculars.
The glasses are hallmarked "Lemaire Fabt Paris" with a bee on one of the eyepieces. The other eyepiece is marked "A. Haustetter New York" with a star. Also is hallmarked "12 Lenses" on the bridge area.
They measure approximately 4 1/4 inches in length by 1 7/8 inches in height when fully extended.
They are in very good condition considering their age, well made, and are in functioning order.
The leather surrounds do have some cracking, but are still intact. Being sold "As Is" due to the leather wear. A great working pocket pair for dad.
