1940's Royal CaseLite Art Deco Cigarette Case Lighter Silver Case Lite Excellent Working
This is a lovely 1940's Royal CaseLite silver case lighter in excellent working condition. The case was meant to hold non-filtered cigarettes that were commonly smoked in the 40's.
To operate the lighter function all you need to do is open the case, pull out your cigarette and then snap the case closed to light the lighter. It's in terrific condition, with a blank cartouche for engraving on the front. The only issue we found is very slight scuffing and two pencil point dings to the side that holds the lighter. We've installed a new Ronson flint, and it sparks well and lights every time.
These days this case might be useful for those newly legal recreational smokes or any non-filtered cigarettes. We are unable to ship lighters with flammable liquids due to postal regulations, so you'll need to add your own. I recommend using Ronson or Zippo lighter fluid.
