Antique Compact Dance Purse 1910 Powder Mirror Compact Wristlet Purse
This pretty antique 1910's powder compact dance purse is a silver tone color with a black enamel medallion with a hand painted rose.
It has a pretty wristlet chain and a cute silver and crystal charm that dangles from the bottom of the piece.
The compact opens to a clear mirror in the lid of the compact; and a glass rouge plate with some rouge remaining behind the mirror. There is also a place for a small lipstick or perfume bottle. It also has a worn rouge puff. The lower portion of the compact has a removable metal powder plate, and a unused powder puff.
This compact measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
The piece does have some age related wear; a few dings, but it's still a lovely compact purse, that displays beautifully.
