1930s Foster Guilloche Powder Mirror And Rouge Compact
This is a lovely vintage 1930's Foster gold tone and guilloche powder, rouge and mirror compact.
The piece is in good vintage condition, but does have some scuffing and age related spots on the bottom, as well as some tarnish on the interior. The guilloche also has some very faint scuffing, but is still gorgeous with the hand painted pink roses and green leaves. Any discoloration to the guilloche are just shadows, not damage.
No dents, dings, rust or corrosion on this pretty compact.
It measures 3 inches in diameter, and is hallmarked "Foster, USA" on the interior powder compartment.
The mirror has some hazing, and the rouge compartment has the original rouge and puff. The powder compartment has some traces of powder.
All hinges and closures work perfectly, and the piece displays beautifully. It also has a pretty raised repousse design around the edges of the compact.
