Sterling Silver Compact 1940s Elgin American Art Deco Powder Mirror Compact Gorgeous
This is a stunning sterling silver 1940's Elgin American Art Deco powder and mirror compact, in excellent condition.
The piece has an etched floral and ribbon design in gold and shiny silver, as well as brushed tones.
Our photos don't do this piece justice, as it was difficult to photograph to get the colors and details. Let's just say the purchaser won't be disappointed with this charming piece.
It opens to a nice mirror, with only extremely slight haze, and a covered powder compartment. The spot on the left side of the mirror is a reflection, not damage.
All hinges and closures work perfectly, and the piece measures one 3 inches in length by 2 3/8 inches in width.
The piece has some very slight scuffing and light scratches, as can be viewed in our high resolution photos, but no dents, dings, rust or corrosion.
