La Mode Tango Compact 1930s Art Deco Black Enamel Powder Rouge & Mirror Lipstick Compact Rare
This is a wonderful 1930's Art Deco black enamel and silver tone octagon shaped tango powder, rouge, mirror and lipstick compact.
The piece is in good condition, with only some very slight chipping around the corners of the compact, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece.
The chain is in excellent condition, as is the lipstick case, although the lipstick has melted in the tube and can no longer be pushed up, but the lipstick could be removed to have it working again.
The compact opens with a push of a button, and has a double sided mirror with a rouge compartment behind the mirror. The powder compartment has a dial sifter compartment, and a powder puff.
The hinges and clasps are in perfect condition.
The compact measures approximately 2 inches in diameter, with the chain being an additional 2 inches in length, and the lipstick case measuring 1 1/2 inches in length.
