Antique Colmont Opera Glasses Paris Mother Of Pearl 1800s Binoculars Theater Glasses
Here is a beautiful antique pair of Colmont Paris mother of pearl opera or theater glasses. A lovely pair of ladies binoculars from the late 1800's.
They measure approximately 4 inches in width, and are 3 inches in height when fully extended. The glasses are in great condition, with no damage to the gorgeous mother of pearl. The only issues we found is some hazing or what is sometimes referred to as fungus around the edges of the base interior lenses, and one of the eyepieces has a flake chip on the glass lens. The defects mentioned do not effect the viewing, and the glasses operate as they should. The fly wheel action is very smooth..
