Vintage Silver Piano Jewelry Box Music Somewhere My Love
This is a gorgeous silver tone metal and red velvet piano musical jewelry box with a cherub on the lid. The piece is in great condition, and plays Somewhere My Love from Dr. Zhivago. The interior shows the music box workings under a piece of plexiglass, and has a separate red velvet compartment to keep small pins, earrings or rings. The only issue we found is that the music doesn't stop playing when you lower the piano lid. It could just be a simple adjustment. It measures approximately 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is approximately 2 1/4 inches in height and hallmarked "Japan" on one of the legs. This charming vintage musical jewelry box would make a lovely gift for that special lady.
