1950's Evans Copper Table Lighter & Ashtray Set Tabletop Working Lighter
Here is a wonderful 1950's rare vintage Evans copper table lighter and matching ashtray set, the lighter is in working excellent working condition.
The lighter itself is brass, and has a copper base with three brass feet.
It measures 2 3/4 inches in height and is 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest part.
The Evans USA hallmark is on the bottom of the lighter. The copper base still has the original tag on the bottom from Coppercraft Guild in Taunton, Mass.
The Ashtray is a nice large size; measuring approximately 6 5/8 inches in total diameter and about 1 3/4 inches in height. It has a removable glass insert for easy cleaning; and has no chips or cracks. It also has a nice weaving loom design painted on the bottom of the glass insert. The copper ashtray holder has 3 black rubber feet to avoid damage to furniture.
The set is in excellent condition with no damage to note, and the lighter works perfectly. We have installed a new flint, just add your own lighter fluid.
We've never seen the set anywhere. You occasionally may find the lighter, but usually no matching ashtray. We found the lighter on eBay; and the seller wanted $385. That did not include the ashtray.
Our lighters are not shipped with lighter fluid, as postal regulations will not allow for shipping of flammable items. You will need to add lighter fluid to this item.
