Art Deco Evans Compact Purse 1920's Vintage Enamel Powder Dance Purse Finger Ring
Pretty little Evans vintage 1920's Art Deco gold and silver tone compact purse with colorful enamel, gold chain and finger ring.
The piece is in very good condition, with no dents, dings, rust or corrosion; only some slight loss of enamel; as can be viewed in our high resolution photos.
It is mostly a gold tone color on the back, sides, chain and finger ring. The lid has some silver and gold tone in the design.
The piece has wonderful details; and opens to a powder well with the original powder puff.
Behind the lid is a useable mirror that does have some light age spots, and an oval rouge compartment with rouge; and the piece is hallmarked "Evans" under the mirror.
It has a lovely gold bar and link chain and the finger ring is beautifully decorated with a repousse pattern.
The compact measures approximately 2 inches square not including the clasp, chain and finger ring; and is approximately 3/8th to 1/2 an inch in thickness.
It comes in a lovely black decorative gift box with rust and gold fabric lining; making it perfect for gifting.
