Sterling Silver Compact And Matching Lipstick Case Art Deco .925 DK Vintage
A unique vintage .925 sterling silver Art Deco powder compact and matching lipstick case set.
Both pieces are hallmarked sterling silver. The compact it has .925 D.K. stamped on it, the lip stick case has .925 and a hallmark with initials in a circle stamped on it, I can not make out what the initials are.
The compact measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and lipstick case is 2 inches in length, and the latches work on both perfectly.
The compact shows some age discoloration on the inside where the powder plate was. The outside has a few pin point ding marks. The mirror is in good condition, but it does have some haze and age related wear around the very edge.
The lipstick is in very good condition, it has some traces of the red lipstick that was once inside, and a few dings on one side.
The compact is approximately 46 grams; and the lip stick case is about 13 grams. A rare sterling set that displays beautifully.
