1924 Norida Powder & Mirror Compact Colonial Courting Scene

$ 82.99

This is a gorgeous and very rare 1924 Norida silver tone powder compact in great condition.

The piece features a Colonial man and woman courting scene on the lid, that is in a raised relief design.

It opens to a clean and clear mirror, with only very faint haze, and an empty powder compartment with a metal sifter.

The hinge and closure work perfectly, and the bottom of the compact can be removed to add your loose powder.

It is hallmarked on the bottom, as well as above the mirror on the frame with the "Norida" name. It also has "Aderon" above the mirror, which is the name of the compact, as well as "Norida Perfumerie" below the mirror.

The piece measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and is approximately 1/2 inch in thickness.

A lovely piece in wonderful condition, only one very faint indentation on the bottom of the piece, no rust or corrosion.
